Moon Tower

This image was shot at around 5:50 in the morning at Torrey Pines. The sun was still below the horizon and the whole scene was lit by the moon which was shining trough the clouds. You can also see stars through the clouds. I wanted to create a large image (60x40") that would invite the onlooker to step in. Hence, it had to be something "landscapy" but since I rarely do pure landscapes, I thought of an older picture I had taken during the day a while ago of this scene. The exposure was long enough to add some movement in the clouds.

This image is available in 4 size-limited editions: 12x8 inches (total of 50 in edition, almost run out), 24x16 inches (total of 30), 36x24 inches (total of 20) and 60x40 inches (total of 10, sold out).
