This is one of the images that is in the guest rooms at Cape Rey Hilton Resort in Carlsbad, CA. This fine art is offered in an open edition. When ordered framed, it will have default a barnwood frame (which is different from the hotel).
Note that the barnwood frame shown is only a representation. Because these are made from reclaimed wood the actual frame can look different (in texture and in color, i.e. more or less gray, more or less brown, darker or lighter).

This image of stairs at San Elijo State Beach is available in an open edition at several sizes: 29x7 inches, 48x11 inches, 60x14 inches and 72x17 inches. When you'd like a custom size, please let me know. When ordered framed (no mat) and framed (no mat), hand colored, it will have a flat barnwood frame (it's on photo paper). When ordered on canvas (hand colored or a print on stretched canvas) it will have a barnwood floater frame.
This image was taken at 25th St in Del Mar, CA, pointing North towards dog beach on the right. In the distance the coast lines of Solana Beach, Encinitas and Carlsbad (with the power plant) can be seen. The mountains in the far distance are beyond Oceanside at Camp Pendleton.
This fine art is available in an open edition at 6x18 inches and smaller and in 3 numbered size-limited editions: 8x24 inches (total of 30), 12x36 inches (total of 20), 16x48 inches (total of 18). The largest and arbitrary sizes have sold out. Only 16x48" and smaller are still available. The framed 6x18" version comes standard in a rustic barn wood frame. If you prefer other options than the ones listed here, please let me know by phone or email.
This image of a female surfer coming out of the ocean at lifeguard tower 3 is available in an open edition at 8x12 inches and smaller and in 4 size-limited editions: 16x24 inches (total of 30), 24x36 inches (sold out), 30x45 to 40x60 inches (sold out) and a total of 10 in arbitrary sizes (sold out). The framed versions come standard in a rustic barn wood frame. My Encinitas Coffee Table Book
This is my second edition of my Encinitas Coffee Table Book. This 12.5 inch wide by 9.5 inch tall book contains all my hand colored images of four communities within Encinitas, California (Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Historic Encinitas, Olivenhain and Leucadia). 112 pages. Hardcover.
Each mixed-media photograph is accompanied by a brief description on what prompted me to focus on in each particular image, my choice of coloring, and often the rationale behind each exquisite composition. Since the first edition I've been working with additional media including oils on photo paper, oils on canvas, acrylics on canvas, watercolor on watercolor paper and pastel on matte paper.\
Two chapters demonstrate DIY hand coloring images with oils on photo paper and with pastels on inkjet paper.
The limited edition book has a teal colored cloth cover with gold-colored inlay lettering and jacket. It is limited to 100 copies only. Numbered and signed by me on the title page. Content for the open edition and limited edition versions is the same.
