Encinitas Boat Houses on the Move

Curious to see how the Encinitas, CA boat houses would look like on the ocean (they're not real boats), I created this oil painting of the boats on said ocean.

The boat houses at Third Street were built in 1929 by the talented architect and carpenter Miles Minor Kellogg and his son Miles Justus Kellogg. The boat houses were built from salvaged wood from the Dance Pavilion and Bathhouse at Moonlight Beach, which was demolished in 1925.

The art measures 20 inches wide and 16 inches tall (about 25 inches wide and 21 inches tall with the barnwood frame) and the frame is included in the price.
