Alaska is an absolutely beautiful state with rugged terrains and an array of wildlife. This small gallery is some of my favorite images that I was able to photograph in Alaska. It is rugged and wild with glaciers, countless rivers and lakes, majestic mountain peaks, some active volcanoes, and nearly 34,000 miles of tidal shoreline. Below are a few of the images I was able to capture.

Joshua Tree National Park is a vast protected area in southern California. It's characterized by rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes. Named for the region’s twisted, bristled Joshua trees, the park straddles the cactus-dotted Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert, which is higher and cooler. Keys View looks out over the Coachella Valley. Hiking trails weave through the boulders of Hidden Valley. Please view my Joshua Tree Photography below!

Del Mar is a beach city in San Diego County, California, incorporated on July 15, 1959. Del Mar is Spanish for "of the sea" or "by the sea," which reflects its location on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Imperial Beach sits on the traditional territory of the Kumeyaay people. Founded in June 1887, the city takes its name from Imperial County, California, a desert climate 100 miles (160 km) east. The famous pier is visited by thousands of tourists each year and a pleasure to photograph. Please view my gallery below!

Big Sur is a rugged stretch of California’s central coast between Carmel and San Simeon. Bordered to the east by the Santa Lucia Mountains and the west by the Pacific Ocean. The breathtaking views and beautiful beaches and landscape make it the perfect place to capture. Despite and because of its popularity, the region is heavily protected to preserve the rural and natural character of the land.
