Green Sea Turtle

This is a small painting (8"x10") of a green sea turtle on two pieces of plexiglass. The bottom piece has sand attached to it (from a Carlsbad beach) on the back. On the front of that piece I painted the green sea turtle with oils and some fishes. On the back of the front piece I painted in blues with Marshall Photo Oils (a transparent oil) and on the front of that piece I painted on an acrylic gel in the shape of waves (and you can feel the texture). On the thickest waves I added some white.

On the outside the piece measures about 13.5 inches wide and 11.5 inches tall.
