San Diego Winter - Canvas

This image of downtown San Diego, California is available as a quintych at 92x47 inches and larger in a limited edition of 12 total. I shot this image in December 2017. You can see that some of the roof tops of Emerald Plaza (the building with the hexagonal roof tops in the 2nd panel) are red instead of the common green, in the spirit of Christmas. This image is composed of 33 images, stitched together. You can see Christmas trees through some of the windows of the tall buildings. I then printed 5 different cut-outs from the large original, making sure there was overlap, resulting in this quintych. Many of my images with an aspect ratio of 2:1 or 3:1 work well as a quintych.

The five pieces hang separately, but is provided with a wall template for easy hanging. 

It takes me about 2 weeks to produce this piece. The one displayed here has been framed with black floater frames, but I can also do it unframed or with barn wood frames.
