Convict Lake - Canvas

This image of Convict Lake near Mammoth Lakes, California is available as a quintych at 72x36 inches and larger in a limited edition of 12 total. In April 2017, we visited Convict Lake for a short weekend get-away. We arrived on Friday afternoon and there was little to no snow. Later in the evening it started snowing and it continued through Saturday. On Sunday the skies cleared and I obtained this shot of the lake. Many of my images with an aspect ratio of 2:1 or 3:1 work well as a quintych.

In the hand colored version, the sky was painted in with opaque oils. The image is also available as a regular one-piece or as a quintych on photo paper. The five pieces hang separately, but is provided with a wall template for easy hanging.
