Honu Ka Hanu

I’ve created the Master Original for this piece with water-soluble graphite and charcoal on paper. I took a photograph and printed it with black and gray inks on canvas. Next, I hand colored it with acrylic paint, and this is what you see here.

Honu ka hanu means green sea turtle breath.

This image is available in an open edition at 12x8 inches and smaller and in 6 size-limited editions: 18x12 inches (total of 40), 24x16 inches (total of 30), 36x24 inches (total of 20), 45x30 inches (total of 18), 60x40 inches (total of 15) and in 10 arbitrary sizes. When ordered framed, it will have a barnwood frame. If you prefer other options than the ones listed here (for example a black frame, a gallery wrap on canvas, etc) please let me know by phone or email. Please contact me if you're interested in the larger versions (45x30" and up).
